The 1968 Buick Electra 225 Convertible is actually a clean original car, just needing a light restoration. The fine points are the straight rust fee body and the very nice original burgundy interior. All the power windows are in good working condition. the power seat works, the air conditioning and the time clock are not working. It has nice glass. The dash pad is perfect. The door weatherstripping was replaced last summer. The frame and floors have all been completely coated with anti rust paint. The engine was detailed and tuned up last summer. The 5 tires are like new Hankook white wall 235/75 15. It had a complete brake job 2 years ago. The Radiator was replaced 2 years ago. The exhaust system was replaced 5 years ago. It has a battery cut off switch under the hood for when the car is stored over the winter. The chrome bumpers are in excellent condition. The doors open and close like a new car. The Buick is driveable as is. The Convertible Top does not leak and power top works fine. It has under 100 K miles. It drives smooth like a Buick should. I am listing it at no reserve. The price starts at $13,700, don"t waste your time or mine with offering less. The Buick Electra 225 cars are desirable and rare. I will not end the auction early.
