About this vehicle This 1966 Pontiac Tempest is an original with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. Thanks Vehicle Details This 1966 Pontiac Tempest Custom Station Wagon has been parked since 1976. Work has begun to make it a driver/gasser as the engine and trans has been replaced. The car will need work, basically front floor pans to make it a driver. I am currently working on the brakes and the wiring to make it fire on its own. Finding any Wagon especially the 64-67 Pontiac’s are getting tougher if not impossible to locate. This would be a great car to finish and definitely would be one of one at ANY car show you would take it to. If you are interested in the body without the drivetrain I would entertain serious offers. Thanks for looking! Videos Exterior Body is decent, not a lot of rust. The Wagon has been parked since 1976. Drivers side rear glass is gone, I do have the passenger side rear glass and trim. The plan was to build this as a gasser style wagon, due to a personal life development I have to cut it loose, my loss is your gain. Interior Interior is ruff, will need front floor pans as well all new interior. Engine Original 326 was locked up and trans was shot. Replaced it with a 305 SBC that runs strong. Holley carb, Speedway valve covers, EDELBROCK intake, HEI. Also has a good 200R transmission. Download the Motors app
