Vehicle description
This No Reserve Auction is for a 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk IA with a clear title.
I will do my best to describe the condition of the car and I am certainly not listing to pull one over on someone. The convertible top is in disrepair although most of the parts are there. I just lack the time and storage space to get the restoration going and have decided to test the market for possible liquidation.
This Tiger has been in my family for 10 years and I believe we are the third owners. My dad bought the car from a family friend who said she had purchased the car in 1969 and had taken it to CA for many years. I believe it has the original drivetrain and shows 70k miles. It is fairly solid underneath but will need some extensive body work. There are holes in the floors and trunk. Also, this car was hit in the front end at some point and repaired quite poorly with an earlier alpine front clip. This one has NO INTERIOR other than some of the dash pieces and is missing the bumpers. It is obviously worth the effort as there are a handful of these cars left. This car is listed on the National Tiger Registry, but has NOT been TAC certified yet. I will assist with identification the best I can if requested by the buyer.
Please e-mail with any questions you may have or if you would like specific pictures taken. I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal from the winning bidder at auction end with full payment due within a week. I will assist with pickup/loading in any way that I can.
I reserve the right to end this auction early as I also have this car listed locally.
Thanks for your interest and happy bidding.
