Vehicle description
1965 Sunbeam Tiger. Condition used. I purchased this car used and don"t have the history of the vehicle and am selling as is. THIS IS NOT NUMBERS MATCHING TIGER, BUT IS A REAL TIGER NOT AN ALPINE CONVERSION! IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT IT, COME LOOK AT IT OR SEND A FRIEND TO LOOK AT IT. PLEASE DON"T BID,THEN BACK-OUT! It has a 289 HI-PO engine cooled with a large radiator and an auxiliary electric cooling fan. The Holley 4 barrel carburetor is fed by an electric fuel pump in the trunk with a fuel regulator under the hood. The generator has been rebuilt about 50 miles ago.Transmission is a 4 speed top loader. The clutch has about 50 miles on it. The differential has been rebuilt and noiseless. The paint has a few flaws but nothing terribly wrong. The body shows no signs of a collision. The dashboard has been redone and looks like a fine burled walnut decoupage. It has all new Speedhut gauges. The tach is driven from the MSD 6AL electronic ignition. The "38024 miles" on the original speedometer were transferred to the new speedometer. The new speedometer is a GPS- speedometer that does not require a sensor but relies on satellites to indicate MPH and distance traveled . The clock and all of the gauges are matching Speedhut brand. The Fuel, Voltage, Temperature and Oil Pressure gauges have individual sensors and are very accurate. The interior is in rough condition but not to bad. The convertible soft top and hard top are in fair condition. Using 13" wheels front and 14" wheels back. This Tiger will burn the tires in all 4 gears.
