1965 Sunbeam Tiger MK1A Once referred to as a "Poor Man"s Cobra", these little jewels are really coming into the limelight and making a presence of their own! Quite possibly the neatest and most successful of the 60"s hybrids that were European cars with American V8 drivetrains, the Sunbeam Tiger not only has the performance to hold its own against most any contender, but also, a real enthusiast"s car, and very driveable in most any type of situation. This particular Tiger is not only well documented with a SCOA certificate of authenticity showing the car was inspected and certified to be the real deal, and still in it"s original configuration, and factory delivered color combination of BRG, (British Racing Green), over black, and both hard and soft tops. It also has many LAT type accessory upgrades as was popular in the day; 15" Panasport wheels, Tiger finned valve covers, Edelbrock Aluminum (F4B style) intake, Holley Carb, ceramic coated headers with stainless steel exhaust, and more. The car was enthusiast owned and is well documented with service receipts dating back to 1968-1989 from a previous owner in the Midwest until it changed hands and was freshened up by the next owner, who kept meticulous receipts that include engine rebuild (with some performance upgrades), new interior kit, tuning and sorting, trunk finish out, undercarriage finish out, and more. The car is an excellent example of how these cars were back in the day, car shows well inside, outside, and underneath, and definitely something that will fit well into your collection, or be the cornerstone for a collection, or just be enjoyed while out cruising on the weekends. The car comes with both tops, STOA certifications, a binder of receipts showing service history and is ready to enjoy!
My Father started selling Chevrolet"s in 1958. We owned several GM franchises in my home town of Brownwood, Texas. I grew up in the car business, loving cars, so it was a natural transition for me in 1994 to join Jordan Ford/Jordan Motorcars. My passion for automobiles and the automobile business is part of what I enjoy sharing with my clients. My Father always said, "Buying a vehicle should be a wonderful experience.", and I truly want that for each of my clients. I have been fortunate enough to hold many positions in our company, sales person, new car manager, used car manager, finance or business manager, and have enjoyed each one immensely. I look forward to sharing my passion for cars with you, and delivering an outstanding, memorable buying experience! With clients across the nation and globally, I strive to describe our vehicles with complete transparency and I want to be your car guy! Call Jerry Daniell or email me at [email protected].
