This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger is finished in red over a refurbished black interior and equipped with a black soft top and a removable hardtop.
Power comes from a 260ci Ford V8 backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox with reverse lockout. An aftermarket air dam and fog lamps have been added, and recent service included an overhaul of the rear brakes and an oil change. This Tiger is now being offered with service records, a Certificate of Authenticity from the Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association, spare side trim, and a clear title.
The body was originally Carnival Red and was repainted a custom shade of red while under previous ownership.
Minator 8-spoke wheels are fitted with 14″ Dunlop Citation tires. One of the wheels has two blemishes from a set of car rollers. The black soft top is shown in the raised and lowered positions , and the removable hardtop includes a headliner.
The interior has been refurbished and features black upholstery with red piping, a painted dashboard, and a Stewart Warner speedometer and tachometer. Switches have been fitted for the electric cooling fan and a fuel pump cut-off, and an auxiliary power outlet has been added.
The 260ci Ford V8 is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the seller states that the engine, transmission, bell housing, and rear differential were confirmed as original by noted Tiger expert Norman Miller. An Edelbrock Performer intake manifold has been installed, and recent service reportedly included renewed rear brakes and an oil change.
