Vehicle description
1964 Electra 225 Convertible — No Reserve!
Stored in a dry garage for 20 years. New: Spark plugs, oil & filter, distributor cap, carb rebuild, brake shoes, brake wheel cylinders, starter, solenoid, trans flex plate, radiator fan, belts, starter, dual exhaust, starter/horn relay/solenoid and battery. All of the above was done after it was taken out of storage then it sat for 2 years. Runs great but could use a tune up again. Desperately needs a new air filter. The convertible top and the seats are extremely dry, cracked and brittle. I taped some holes up with duct tape to keep the weather out. Lots of documentation (including the Buick Guard A Plate) shown in the pictures. 5 factory hub caps and 4 15 x 6 inch 5 on 5 factory Magnum mag wheels. The tires on the Magnum wheel are in decent shape and hold air. There is an exhaust rattle when you start the car that goes away when you give the engine gas. Some of the exterior molding are loose and need speed nuts. There are many bags of small parts. The trim piece for the center of the hood is in the trunk. Power seat does not work. Glove box assembly needs to be reassembled. Most parts are there. Parade boot is dirty but in very nice shape. Much documentation shown in the pictures. This is a good, honest unmolested very original car that runs and drives and just needs some minor work and fiddling around with. I just have no time to work on this car.
If you have no feedback or negative feedback I will strike your bid. Thanks for looking
