Vehicle description
1963 Triumph TR4 vintage race car - Life happens, so my project vintage racer isn"t quite track ready - but it"s very close - except I have no time for it in the foreseeable future. Engine built by Ted Schumacher/Hart Machine - balanced, shot peened rods. Forged pistons, 300* cam - 12:1 compression, high torque mini starter, twin SU carbs, up to date fuel cell, koni front shocks, lowered front springs, TR6 A-arms - adjustable for camber, modified rear axle (Southwick conversion done by Moser), aluminum flywheel, spec clutch, 4-speed transmission, Diamond racing wheels, 4 new Hoosier speedsters, Kirkey seat, full cage tied in to chassis, custom wire harness, aluminum radiator, stainless braided oil, brake and fuel lines, holley red fuel pump and regulator, oil cooler. Extra engine block and boxes of parts to complete (new alternator, distributors, coils, Wilwood brake masters with balance bar, hoses, AN fittings, tail light lenses. Chassis and body are rust-free, but a little scruffy from storage and moving it around (I also have the doors, just not currently installed). What it needs - finish wiring installation (diagram included), finish brake and water lines, fire extinguisher, radiator shroud, pedal/control installation, clutch/brake master/slave install - have a slave, needs a master cylinder, alternator install, doors/latches installed and trim installed, rear axle lowered and rear shocks installed (have several armstrong lever shocks that come with the car). Also have full photo documentation of bare metal, body-off reconditioning (it"s not a restoration - it"s a race car).
