1961 Volkswagen Bus / Kombi This is a very rare vintage 1961 "DD" double door walk through delivery bus that I"m selling in as is condition. This is not anopportunity that will come around very often and I"m looking forward to hearing any questions you may have about it. I have way too many projects and just don"t have the time nor space right now. .my loss is your gain. After looking over all the picture attached you will see that it needs a full restoration due to therust and rot that has taken over. The story of this bus is, it was sitting in a privately owned forest property for many years and untouched. The motor was out of it when I purchased it but I found one in the same area that I believe is the correct one for it. I just pressure washed it and what you see is what you"ll get. I’ve been told there were only about 200 of thistype manufactured and I can’t find any pictures of one exactly like it anywhere.Most have the vents on both sides of the rear plus a few rows directly above…thisone is smooth and does not have the upper vents. Oregon title in hand for an easy sale. Buyer must bring trailer with a winch or arrange for a company to pick it up. It"s located on my personal property in Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.
