Vehicle Details For sale by owner: '59 A. Originally, somewhat rare Glacier Blue with black interior, gray piping and top. Car is very original, never apart or modified. Last inspected and licensed in 1976. At that time, the owner removed one rear fender, one door, the top and interior with plans to restore. It's been sitting like that ever since. Original options/accessories: Heater, telescoping wheel, AM radio, windshield sprayer, tonneau cover, luggage rack. Includes a rough Plastic Dynamics fiberglass hardtop (originally white, missing window) and correct aluminum side curtains too. Bad news: Has been sitting outside for many years without the top so the frame needs repairs, floor and supports as well. Light impact damage to front left and right fenders and grill area. Boot floor is weak too. Everything is repairable. Good news: Clear KY title in my name. Tires hold air, rolls and steers. Gear lever moves through all positions. I pulled the plugs and took a hand crank and the engine spun over freely, wow. I then pulled the valve cover and it's really clean for 55k miles. Gas pedal still moves the carbs freely. I'm guessing it may had a refresh. I'm sure the engine is original since it's a high starter (15 GD-U-H-857) which matches the chassis date. Package includes everything seen in the pictures including the five additional 1500 wheels if wanted. Nice straight hood and trunk lid, good gaps.I've owned for about a year but have two other restorations in front of this so it's time to let it go to someone else. Buyer to pay cash at pickup within 14 days of close of auction, no exceptions. Non-running so it must be trailered. I can help load it too. Reserve is reasonable, so bid to win.
