Vehicle Details MG MGA. This is my 1957 MGA 1500. I bought it in 2017 and did a driver quality restoration on it. I have gone through the suspension, it has Moss motors wire wheel adapters up front, along with a MGB wire wheel rear axle in back, which has a taller (3.9) final drive.I have the original 4.3 rear axle, which uses disc type wheels, and goes with the car. It has new disc brakes and brake hoses up front, and new brake cylinders for the rear drums. It also has a new brake/clutch master cylinder and a new clutch slave cylinder.The top is in fair shape but will need to be replaced in the near future. It comes with the plexi style side windows. I installed new pistons,rings, wrist pins and rod and main bearings less than 200 miles ago. The car starts and drives well. The paint isn't perfect and the body has some imperfections. The car shows well enough for local car shows/cars and coffee, and is a blast on back country roads.
