Vehicle description

Here we have a 1956 Hudson Hollywood Hardtop with 52K miles. This is a survivor car that has unique history. This car was used as a prop in the movie “Labor Day” back in 2013 and was owned by Boston actor, Karl Green, during that time. Since then, it has been sitting in a garage in Colorado for 4 years. I was told the Hudson was purchased new from dealership, E.J. Peters in Chadwicks, NY. back in ’56 where it spent most of the time.
This Hudson is an original rare 2-door, V8, 3-tone paint, (Glacier light blue/ pink/ white), with continental rear bumper and loaded with accessories. Even has aftermarket 8-track player. The car has all the trim, grill, hubcaps and badging is straight. Pits do exist on the chrome. Interior is original leather/cloth and aged 62 years so upholstery is needed. Door panels are good 2-tone and plastic badges are nice. Glass is good except driver’s side window has vertical crack. All windows regulators function proper. I installed a new starter and was very excited to hear it run and does not smoke with a good exhaust/muffler. The car runs, drives and sounds great but will need brakes and it leaks transmission fluid. Tires are old bias ply 7.60 15” with wide white walls. I have a printed download Technical Service Manual w/supplement that goes with the car.
This car has some rust repair on the rockers that was repaired many years ago. See additional pics. The frame section (uni-frame) looks great and paint is faded and has chips, so it will need total restoration.
