Vehicle description
Very rare factory pre-war Hudson pickup truck for sale. Good luck finding another one of these! Don"t really want to sell but unfortunately you can"t keep them all. This was going to be the patina cruiser to dominate all work-clothes or "rat" rod gatherings.
Hudson commercial vehicle production (including station wagons, trucks, panel trucks, and other utility vehicles) was less in one year than the larger truck manufacturers produced each month.
Truck features a 3-speed manual transmission, 3/4-ton capacity rating, 212 cubic inch six-cylinder engine, a 90" bed length, and a style you won"t find in many other vehicles, especially trucks, from most any time period.
This truck was purchased out of long-term storage, and comes as you see it here. More photos available upon request, as-is, where-is, largely complete truck. "Ran when parked" in the late 1980"s/early 1990"s, was vandalized (glass busted out) and moved out to "under-tarp" outside storage in the late 1990"s/2000"s sometime. Current running condition unknown.
I can help load the truck on your trailer with a tractor
Truck rolls and steers
Frame does have some rust, but there is enough left to section in some new metal. Or, drop it on a 60"s or 70"s camper special truck frame and have the coolest cruiser and/or shop truck around. 128" wheelbase.
I have the original Hudson tailgate, included in sale. Unfortunately a door was cut in by a farmer at one point in life for ease of feeding livestock. Though the "Hudson" stamping is still legible.
Running condition of the truck is completely unknown.
The body has some rust and "character" but is really not too bad. Definitely rust and dents, but not beyond repair or restoration. Floor has holes and is crunchy in places, but you may be able to section in metal without removing the cab.
Please see photos for details and don"t hesitate to contact me with any questions whatsoever. Truck rolls and steers great, tires hold air, I can help load on your trailer with a tractor. The interior is aged, ugly, and red. Seat is sit-able. Headliner is absent but most top bows, some wood pieces, and interior light mount are there. Check out my other auctions! Thank you for your interest, tell your friends, and call anytime, Cash only sale. Clear MN title in my name. No funny business please.
