Very cool 1949 Diamond T pickup. Frame off restoration finished in 2020.
All original drive train. Engine and transmission completely rebuilt, including; engine bored, new pistons, crankshaft and lifters resurfaced, all new engine bearings. Block and cylinder head were resurfaced. New valves and springs. Optional 4speed transmission resealed with bearings replaced as needed. All new brake system; lines and hoses, shoes, wheel cylinder and master cylinder. Rear axle was inspected and resealed. New exhaust system, as well. All new wiring and electrical system converted to 12 volt. Original gauges in working condition. New fuel tank. All new glass and upholstery. Working original heater with defroster. Five new 750/16 tires. Painted the original red w/green color combo.
These trucks were built to last. Very utilitarian. .designed to get the job done. A beautiful truck, hard to find in this condition.
