Vehicle description
What a shame, look at all this. .
The Good:
(Almost EVERYTHING from the dashboard to the rear of the car is salvageable, save for a few pieces of the dashboard that were radically bent/broken)
Replaced in the last year-
New rotors, bearings, and pads
Plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor
New exhaust system and muffler
Removed center seats (comes with van) and replaced carpet with wood flooring
Oil change + filter
Engine and Transmission are TIGHT and have plenty of life left. She was running so good before the accident, just completed a 400 mile round trip through Maryland. I would have taken her anywhere.
Everything else is there and in great shape.
The Bad: Obviously the front end of the car isn"t coming back through body work, not even with the help of the finest plastic surgeons (unless you want to graft an entire front end from the front doors to the nose, if I had the time and money, I"d get an old Concord Jet nose). The radiator is obliterated so the car can only run for a small period of time before it reaches too hot of an operating temp.
*Previous owner(s) provided me with paperwork on a top end engine rebuild, and more, but the papers have been misplaced at this time however this subject to change.*
$2000 firm, first person to swing it gets it.
There is at least double worth of parts from my van.
Bring your flatbed/tow dolly and come and get her, I will have title in hand. You will not be disappointed. She was always kept clean with no smoking or lavish beer parties w/ puke.
Some backstory: On my way to a small camping excursion here in Jersey, I was hit by a semi-truck as I was pulling out of an intersection with a crappy blind spot. It ran before my 2 week vacation, Believe it or not it still runs and drives! ! I had to turn the key off after impact. . she wont hold any coolant obviously.
So please don"t ask me to part out, I want to sell her as a whole and I"m finished wrenching on her. She is in the driveway and not in a rush, but maybe in a year I will start dismantling if nobody grabs her. Thanks
