1987 VW Vanagon – We are selling our Vanagon. Too many other projects and not enough barn. Did a lot of work on her. Replaced fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump. (Tank was from Vanagain, the rest of the fuel line parts were from GoWesty.com and installed accordingly.) (I still only fill the tank 3/4s) it has new front suspension components, (GoWesty) New Master Cylinder for the brakes, rebuilt rear brakes (GoWesty) Rebuilt and cleaned fuel injectors, shoulder strap seat belts and head rests on the bench seat. New battery. She comes with good all season tires, almost new, on GoWesty aluminum rims. Jump seats, Custom Oak roof rack. Zbart undercoat protection. Painted green with a single stage paint, no clear coat. Interior is in decent shape with a few areas where the panel vinyl is loose. There is some superficial rust at the seams. The body and under carriage are very clean, no rust, or very little superficial stuff. We drove her all over NY to visit family and go camping. Odometer stopped working. The engine has about 160k on it (was rebuilt once that I know of) Body has about 243k on her. Locks don’t work. All the door pulls are good though. She runs well. We have always used 87 octane ethanol free fuel. She likes it.
