Vehicle Details Super rare 1965 International Harvester Scout 80 with an original soft top frame and red paint! Let's start with the obvious, it needs completely restored. The floor is very rough and the body isn't much better, and the engine seems tight when trying to turn it by hand. That's the bad news. The good news is it has a clean title, and some very rare features. How often do you see an original soft top frame on a Scout? The top itself is gone, but the frame remains. It also shows original red paint underneath the blue. I don't know how many Scouts came in red, but it was as rare as the soft top from what I can tell. I haven't made any attempt at the engine other than just trying to turn it over by hand. It's a 4 cyl with 3 speed manual transmission. The frame, springs, and drive train all look straight and solid so this Scout could be rebuilt to its original red paint, soft top glory! There's still a good amount of useable parts on it so it could also be parted out if you wanted to go that route as well.
