1977 International Scout II. Recent work includes replaced transmission, new radiator, catalytic converter/exhaust, and frame welds. To become operational, the vehicle requires some modest upgrade/repairs (brakes, lights/blinkers, and perhaps new tires). Buyer makes no representations to the operability, safety or environmental condition of this vehicle. Vehicle does not have original engine. The engine is a 305 Vortec Chevrolet (believed to be 1998-1999 vintage). Engine runs smoothly and is seemingly an efficient engine to power this sized vehicle. No oil spotting or signs of leaks in the powertrain. Exterior panels are generally straight and in good shape, with notable exceptions being the hood and gas cap panel. Doors latch properly but need to be adjusted for proper alignment. The grill, rear gate, and badges are all in very good shape. Interior appears to be original. Unknown whether the camper top has ever been removed. Not sure if miles are correct. The vehicle does run and drive, but the buyer should make accommodations to trailer the vehicle upon purchase. Seller prefers cash on delivery and locals are welcome to inspect the vehicle. I reserve the right to end the auction early to sell to a local buyer. The reserve price has been set well below the price of my original purchase plus recent repairs and improvements.
