Vehicle Details 1978 Chevrolet C-10 and it’s a Silverado! Here is your second chance to get an extremely complete, very popular “square body” 1978 C-10 pick up truck project. It is relisted with a new, lower opening bid! This restorable truck is a blank canvas which you can finish however you want. The possibilities are endless. No, this truck isn’t running but that makes it a perfect candidate to drop in an LS motor or rebuild the block that is included. The truck presently has a bad motor in the engine bay (timing chain?) but I’ll even include an untested 350 motor that is shown in the bed (see the photos). I’m guessing there are no cracks in either block and both could be re built - the winning bid gets everything! This truck is fairly basic with no power windows or locks but it is equipped with factory air conditioning with all components and it has the front bumperettes - go figure. . .Originally this was a diesel. It was converted to gas many years ago. Its battery is missing. As I said, it isn’t running but is very complete so bring the appropriate equipment to haul it away. The fuel tanks are missing. The windshield is cracked. I purposely took photos of the areas where rust is commonly an enemy. Examine the rockers, wheel wells etc. The floors are rusty. The tires hold air. Steering wheel should be serviced before driving it - there is a missing spacer. It has a clean, clear Mississippi Title in my name. Low opening bid with NO RESERVE. .
