This very cool 1986 C10 truck has spent all of its life here in middle Tn. The truck is %100 RUST FREE, has a killer stance, super nice 2 year old paint, new wheels & tires, nice interior, and runs and drives great.
The new suspension was dropped 4.5/6 with McGaughy"s drop spindles and springs upfront, and Western Chassis 5" flip kit and 1" drop shackles in the rear. New KYB shocks on all 4 corners completed the drop. While the suspension was apart the tuck got new brakes upfront along with upper ball joints, and outer tie rods. The truck is super tight and rides down the road great.
The Interior is a mix of new and original that has remained in fantastic condition. The seat and dash were updated last summer. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are original and in great condition. The new floor mat was added to help keep the original carpet protected. All lights, radio, and gauges work as they should with the exception of the volt meter.
The wheels and tires are brand new. American Racing Torq Thrust 20x8 and 20x10 wheels with 245/45 and 275/45 tires. I also added a 1.5" spacer to the rear to bring the tires out to the edge of the bed. The staggered wheels and aggressive tires make the truck drive and handle really well.
The original 305/350 drivetrain runs great. The engine has perfect oil pressures, no smoke, no leaks, and great engine temps. The trans is smooth, leak free, and shifts great in all gears. The AC is all new including compressor, cross flow condenser, dryer, and new hoses. All new green O-rings, red orifice tube, and with the correct R134a Freon amount has the truck cooling at 40 degrees running down the road.
The truck was painted in 2016 and is very nice. The truck is %100 RUST FREE, laser straight, and all original body panels. Not a full blown show truck, but above average driver for sure. The glass and door rubbers were replaced when painted also. The hard bed liner was recently added along with new tail lights. The original grille and bumpers are in great condition also, along with a near perfect tailgate band.
