Vehicle Details Fully restored in 1998-2000, titled in 2000 and appraised for over 30k, RARE and beautiful "driver" 1965 Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Convertible. All records and history available, if you'd like. Pictures from the ground up restoration and receipts. Kept in the city, covered during the winter. Pictures available of all the spots of rust, wear and upholstery coming away from door on both sides. This beauty drives very well and well-maintained (getting an oil leak fixed right now), but needs a little love with the upholstery, rust on the exterior and new paint job or removal of oxidation on paint. Unfortunately it's had a water leak area for many years, and it has been difficult to diagnose, possible coming from the driver's side window. Some of the windows aren't flush anymore, need to be fixed. Rust on the doors, front lights, on chrome, possibly other areas as well. Always been licensed in California, and original plates from CA. The bump on the front driver's side fender was from a bus and wasn't fixed due to being hard to find original fender.
