Custom prototype factory coach built 1951 Kaiser Henry J dual windshield roadster
One off prototype which might of inspired dutch darrin to build his roadsters
Fresh out a long-term storage this car runs and drives it’s been hidden forgotten about and the crown jewel in a private Henry J collectors collection for many many years
This car is perfect to be restored and take the concourse shows or Pebble Beach
there’s nothing else like it this car
was not built with parts off of other cars was built on the henry J platform
Featuring a Kaiser supersonic six cylinder flathead engine with three speed manual transmission
every other component on it is one off custom built all done by professional coach builder
Rumored to be a prototype, might have been built for a movie star, also rumored to be built for Walt Disney for Disneyland Florida wayne carini and jay leno aint got one of these
There’s a story typed up with pictures in a folder that was found inside the car I got the car from the son of a well-known Henry J collector who had a parts business for many many years he chases car for 20 years found it down in Florida and it took him almost 10 years to buy it

The story also talks about the car being bought brand new from a dealership in Indiana and taken somewhere across town and built into this at a cost of over $20,000 who it was built for and who built it all those records are lost I’ve been searching and searching for any information but cannot find anything on it
The guy had restored it after he bought it out of Florida in the 80s repainted it and reupholstered it in all white leather the son i got it from and left it under a blue tarp outside in the elements got to it but the chrome is nice stainless is nice the paint on the dash is all handpainted to look like basket weave and all the chrome stuff on the dash was painted look gold or brass but all the trim everything is all handmade it’s very cool car
The door windshields are interested in the rear windshield looks like it came off of a boat but it was specially made for this car it tilts backwards or flips back to let the passengers in to the backseat and then it flips forward over top of them and rest just behind the front seats so they have their own windscreen
all the bodywork is done and Lead and all the parts are fabricated and looked factory made it’s very hard to tell that this car was not made in a factory
