Vehicle description

Almost completed project: 1975 International Scout II XLC. 98% rust free with all original panels, floors, rockers, doors, etc. Original paint (rare metallic champagne color similar to Jeep Wrangler’s Khaki color). Chassis is a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (NEW Mopar frame at $3500.00. A new frame was preferred so as to not have competing frame VIN numbers with the body VIN) with low mileage Rubicon axles with OEM electric locker and 4:33 gears ($4500.00). Suspension is all new Rock Krawler with adjustable arms all around ($1300.00) with new adjustable Rock Krawler track bars front and rear ($360.00) with new Bilstein shocks and steering stabilizer ($425.00). New heavy duty front and rear OME coil springs ($350.00). New wheels and 35” tires ($1775.00). New calipers/brakes and brake lines all around ($650.00). New hydroboost brake booster ($565.00) with CBR racing power steering pump and remote reservoir ($775.00) mounted to engine using Wide Open Designs kit ($290.00). New ANYTHING SCOUT aluminum radiator with shroud and four heavy duty electric Spal cooling fans ($1400.00). New GenRight high capacity (27 gallons) aluminum fuel tank with steel skid plate enclosure ($1550). New in tank OEM Wrangler fuel pump with adapters ($480.00) installed with AN6 fuel line installed to engine. Low mileage 2011 (70k approximately) ALL ALUMINUM Generation IV 5.3 Vortec V8 ($3500.00) engine (approximately 340 horse) with v-band headers ($595.00). Engine is wired ($720.00) E38 computer programmed ($260.00) and ready to run. Engine placed with RPM Extreme motor mounts ($300.00) with 6l80e six speed ($2500.00) automatic transmission using RPM Extreme transmission mount ($150.00). Rebuilt Jk transfer case ($750.00) with new Novak adapter ($560.00). Lokar 6l80 shifter (with tap shift) installed (ESS66L80HM: $380.00) as well as JB Customs transfer case shifter ($225.00). JK OEM steering gear and pitman arm ($450.00).
New Ididit tilt and keyed black steering column and linkage ($1065.00). New billet steering wheel and hub ($200.00). New VINTAGE Air Magnum IV A/C ($1100.00) mounted with custom brackets and ducting and controller. New Wilwood master cylinder and proportion valve ($300.00). New brake lines. New 02 sensors ($170.00). New front Corbeau RS (black vinyl with grey cloth centers) reclining seats ($750.00). New rear sway bar. Front sway bar is the Rubicon version with disconnect feature ($400.00).
New KAYMAR rear bumper and dual swing out tire carrier and gas rack—over 4K plus shipping to US. Rhino Rack platform roof rack ($1100.00). AEV hidden winch mount (no winch).
Brakes are 95% completed: need to add fluid and bleed. New emergency brake lines are installed but need to mount the new Wrangler e-brake and attach the lines. After that wire the new Ron Francis XP66 fuse bock/relay module ($500.00) to the battery, hook in the engine wiring harness leads (five wires), run a single wire to the fuel pump connector, put gas in it and the engine will run (radiator has no fluids, engine does not have oil, etc.).
Minor fabrication remains with minimal, simple welding to the frame-side body mounts and the frame splice (the frame was shortened using the OEM sleeve method: the middle frame rails telescope into the front frame module. OEM penetrates approximately 5”. My frame was shortened then reinserted into the front module’s sleeve but penetrates almost 8”. No other parts needed to run and drive. Drive train is installed and near-ready to drive. Steering is installed and near-ready. Will need a front drive line. Suspension and steering will need to be torqued to spec.
The interior paint is in very good condition. The dash pad has no cracks. I have all the original sheet metal: grill and both fenders as well as the dash. I do not have the headliner for the hard top but I have the OEM fiberglass molded sides in very good condition. The doors are rust free and open and close as they should. Gaps are uniform. The rockers are rust free and solid with no damage. The floors are original with minimal rust which is predominantly surface rust only in small areas. None of the flooring needs replacing. None of the body panels need replacing although there are minor dents in various places that are easy to repair with hammer and dolly. I have over 40k in parts not including shipping and certainly not including labor. This figure does not include the value of the rare, OEM khaki-colored and virtually rust free 1975 Scout XLC body (I have all the original sheet metal in very good condition). Items needed to finish: windshield, carpeting, shifter boot, dash gauges, door rubber seals, exhaust with cats and mufflers and a battery.
See: New Legend Scout’s similar offerings beginning at $165,000.00. Yes: one hundred and sixty-five thousand US dollars.
I have a 100 % tear in my rotator cuff with a 9 month recovery AFTER surgery which is scheduled fir December 23, 2019. I am upset at the injury and the length of down time. Otherwise I would never sell.
