For sale is a tastefully modified 1983 5spd w/ 67K original documented miles, original paint, and an original uncracked dash. I rebuilt the car while living in NYC and it is still registered there but located in Los Angeles (hasn"t been smogged yet). The transaxle has been professionally rebuilt by a very well-known indepedent Porsche shop in NYC and the dual disk clutch is new. It has Han"s short throw shifter and 928MS linkage bushings. The intake/TB are from an 84-86 Euro and are larger than the equipment on the US model. It has a Han"s oil baffle and cutom catch-can. The car also has custom 3" exhaust w/ dual Moroso spiral resonators, a custom y-pipe, ceramic coated 85/86 headers, and a Magnaflow high-flow cat (CARB approved). I can also provide the new owner with the stock cat. The fuel injectors are new and the car has been tuned w/ an AFPR and an adjusting the AFM to account for the additional O2. The timing belt and the WP were replaced approx. two years ago as was every gasket and sensor on the motor. All fuel lines have been replaced w/ either GB lines or custom PFTE braided ones. Most of the engine bay has been zinc plated or ceramic coated. The brakes have been upgraded to the four-pots from the S4 model, it has new shocks, and a fully rebuilt suspension w/ poly bushings. The leather seats and carpet are brand new. There is a new retro-style bluetooth stereo and speakers fitted to the OEM grilles. There is a new aluminum radiator and overflow, new injectors, brake MC/slave, Optima battery, steering race, axels, wheel hubs, new tires, and on and on. . To be honest, it would be very difficult to find something on the car that isn"t new/rebuilt in the last 3 years. The only thing that I have not bothered w/ is the AC which does not blow cold but otherwise appears to be in working order- I have no use for AC as I leave the windows down and usually drive very fast.
