Testing the waters on selling my 928 before pulling the trigger w/ listing on BaT. I have another 928 project going on and I just don"t have the space at my new house for both right now.
The car is a modified 1983 5spd w/ 67K original documented miles, original paint, and an original uncracked dash. I rebuilt the car while living in NYC and it is still registered there but located in Los Angeles (hasn"t been smogged). The transmission has been professionally rebuilt during my ownership. It has been tastefully modified (in my opinion at least) from a mechanical and esthetic perspective. The intake/TB/top end are from an 84-86 Euro. It also has custom exhaust and 85/86 ceramic coated headers. Fuel has been tuned w/ an AFPR and adjusting the AFM to account for the added airflow. It has S4 brakes, new shocks, and a fully rebuilt suspension. Seats and carpet are new. New radiator, injectors, brake MC, slave, battery, clutch, and on and on. . To be honest, it would be difficult to find something on the car that isn"t new/rebuilt in the last 3 years. The list of work I have done to the car is too long to list here and I"d be frightened to add up all the receipts. For serious buyers, I"ll provide a list and accompanying receipts.
Based on recent sales and auctions I"ve seen, I am asking $29k but will consider reasonable offers. Otherwise, will go on BaT by June/July.
