Vehicle description

FINAL PRICE DROP!
FOR SALE: 1942 Willys Near Fully Restored Original Body World War II Jeep Willys Jeep from 1942 - Near Fully Restored Original Body (Except for a few minor non-original parts as described below, all of which buyer can change on their own if desired) The 6 volt battery has been upgraded to a 12 volt battery since the 6 volt batteries do not hold a charge very long and are also unreliable. The tail lights are not original, but they were necessary to make the car "street legal" in Tennessee (I have not checked the rules yet for Georgia or in other states on what is required for "street legal" status. This responsibility will fall to the Buyer. The axle lockout for 4-wheel drive on the front 2 wheels have been upgraded to more modern ones. Included with the purchase: An extra axle stub for the front Original Snap-on/Zip-up Side Panels Original Spare Tire Original Pioneer Tools (Shovel, Gas Can, Ax, etc.) Highlights and Features Classic, Historical WWII Jeep from Willys Odometer reads: 13,011 Miles 4-Wheel Drive Paint looks great. Showroom, museum, or film quality. Excellent condition. Starts, Runs, and Drives great. It also draws a lot of attention and compliments from people that see it. Well maintained and mostly garage kept. Wonderful vehicle. Title is included, even though it is not necessary to have a title on a vehicle this old. You will need to check your state"s statute, but the majority of states do not require title for vehicles this old. All that is needed is a Bill of Sale. This vehicle was made prior to the existence of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN), but a VIN was issued and it is stated on the Title. Terms of Sale: The vehicle is located in Woodstock, Georgia which is just north of Atlanta. Vehicle is sold "as is" from a private seller/collector. I am also not very knowledgeable about vehicles, but to the best of my knowledge, the vehicle is a near fully restored original except for the few areas I pointed out in the auction. Again, I am not an expert when it comes to vehicles. The winner of the auction must pay via PayPal a $500.00 non-refundable deposit which is due immediately upon the conclusion of the auction. Then the buyer has 1 week to pick up the vehicle unless we agree on a different time for pick-up. I will not ship the vehicle. It is for local pick-up only. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle and for loading it onto a trailer or driving it NOTE : I have sold other 1940s era vehicles (A 1942 GMC CCKW Troop Transport and a 1941 Dodge WC9 WWII Ambulance - Both customers are extremely happy with their purchases. I truly believe you will be happy with this purchase as well.). Payment is to be made in cash (except the $500.00 non-refundable deposit due immediately via PayPal). This is the exact same method I have used when selling other 1940s era vehicles. Serious bidders only, please.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me. I strive to provide excellent customer service (see my reviews) and will do my best to get back to you the same day regarding any questions or concerns that you bring to my attention.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
P.S. I did not put the side panels all the way on the vehicle when I took the pictures, but they do fit snugly. The only non-original parts that I am aware of are shown in the pictures (the tail lights which were added to make it street legal, the axle lock, and the 12v battery instead of a 6v battery). I do not have the bond straps for the hood or the original fuel filter. I do not have a rifle carrier for the windshield or a floor mounted starter.
