Up for sale is my personal 1997 Jeep Wrangler Green Beret Special Edition. Perfect for the person who loves the original Willys MB war jeeps but wants something with power and way more reliable without the headaches. This Jeep has a custom olive drab green paint job just like the 1940s Willy’s war jeeps that this jeep was inspired by. 4.0L Inline 6 engine. Frame is in perfect condition with no rust at all. This Jeep has no rust spots and floor boards are all solid as can be. This is not a rust bucket it was always maintained and washed after snow and salt. Garage kept. NY inspection was just done last month. This Jeep runs great with no issues. There will be no surprise engine lights or any other lights. I have the brand new soft top in khaki/ spice to match the war theme. I also have the full doors in olive drab that match as well. I am willing to meet any out of state buyers at any of the NYC airports, or Islip MacArthur for an extra $100 paid before in deposit if you want to drive it home or get a uhal trailer. I trust this Jeep enough that I would drive it to Cali and back! I will miss it. Only reason I am selling it is because I just had a baby and the toys must go. I need a baby friendly family car. This Jeep has 190,000 miles but the way it’s been maintained through its life it will last 100k more! This Jeep has many extras and is an off-road beast! Extras include. . 4 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift done by professional shop with no expenses spared. They talked previous owner into upgrading rear axel as well. I was told they spent over $5000 for that lift bill alone. 33” General Grabber AT2 like new tires on custom olive drab rims (tires alone cost $1000) and I showed the tread in one of the pictures.
