No doubt one of the finest examples of a Mash Era Radio M-38 to be ever offered or found. Was on museum display for several years, started and driven annually , fluids changed, this example possibly exhibits original paint . Engine was rebuilt at around Note: The author of MASH H. Richard Hornberger of Bremen, Maine , (pen name: Richard Hooker) rode in this Jeep around 1995 prior o his passing here in Maine in Nov. 1997.
I purchased this M38 for the sole purpose of giving my late father a ride in what he drove during the War. He died at 93.
Too many original accessories to list that include, dash mounted M1 holder, 50 cal center post, working radio, original antenna, side curtains , sleeping bag, back pack radio pack, gas mask etc. 24 v system, fording provision, new master cylinder prior to a recent 300 mile excursion
