I am relisting my jeep, the person who bought it refused to pay for it. So if you can"t figure out how to arrange for transport or don"t want to pay for it, please don"t bid on it, thanks I am selling my 51 M-38, It is restored as an Air Force AP unit from Eglin Fld. FL. I have a valid Illinois title for this vehicle. There are 4 new Firestone tires, new brake lines and master cyl., All new wheel cylinders, fuel lines also. New wiring, with the seat cushions recovered over the original springs. The windshield is original and the radiator has been re-cored. The clutch and pressure plate are new. The carburetor is new, the fuel pump is not original but the original comes with the vehicle. There is a spotlight, siren, and an amber mars light. The generator is original, the engine is a government rebuild (tag on block) The canvas top had a few holes in it but I had then patched and new plastic windows installed. The gas tank is new, the gas gage float system is new ,but the gage on the dash is not working, neither is the amp gage. The temp gage is erratic so is the oil pressure gage. The speedometer is not hooked up, Over all the only rust I encountered was in small section of the hat channel in the tool box and it has been repaired. The buyer will have to arrange pick transportation. In addition to the vehicle I am including several boxes of spare parts. This vehicle is sold as is.
