You"re looking at a Willys CJ-3b. I have not found a tag or VIN number on it anywhere yet, but do have an old title for a 1947 Willys Jeep that I could include with it. Don"t know if that would work or not, as I believe the high hood design was from the "50s. Any Jeep experts out there, are welcome to comment and set me straight! This vehicle frame, axles and suspension are original and stock, but years ago, someone put a body-lift kit on it, and converted it to a Small Block Chevrolet V8 power. I still have the original transmission, transfer-case and bellhousing adapter to mate it up to any S.B.C. engine that can go with the vehicle if desired. I also have a disassembled 305 cubic inch Chevy V8 that came out of a running "80s Caprice. It doesn"t exhibit a bunch of ring-ridge or anything, and could be put back together, and used if desired. This vehicle has a pretty straight and solid body overall. It"s had a roll-bar added, and has a new top that"s still very soft and supple. All 4 tires match, but the rims are different style. They"re 37" tall mudders. Pretty huge for a little Jeep. I thought this would make a great father-son project, or an off-road builder where the majority of the hard work has already been completed. It was a running, driving vehicle, but the previous owner wanted the 383 stroker engine out of it, so now it is just a roller. I know these are getting harder and harder to find in any sort of intact condition. I"ve listed it at a very fair price with no reserve! I might be willing to knock a little off the price to keep the wheels & tires, and/or the transmission/transfer-case, but otherwise everything I"ve mentioned above comes with the vehicle As Is.
