1950 Willys M38 recent frame off restoration.
- 5.3 LS engine competely rebuilt. Currently has 1200 miles - T18 transmission rebuilt with Novak master kit. Pitted gears replaced. - Dana 18 transfer case rebuilt with Novak rebuild kit. Pitted gears replaced - Body stripped to bare metal. Rust cut out and repaired. New paint with color matched liner inside and underneath.
- New windshield frame - New hood
- New windshield - New tailgate - New Jerry can mount and Jerry can (Jerry can is a storage container, not for fuel)
- New wheels - New radial tires same size as the original bias ply tires - New front bumper - Steering upgraded with a new Saginaw steering box.
- New seat frames with cushions. (Seat back cushions have not been installed yet)
- Brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes on all four wheels. - New master cylinder - New brake lines - New gas tank with Aeromotive Stealth 340 in tank pump - Northern aluminum performance radiator - New wiring harness - New Pioneer Tools and canvas straps (not installed on the Jeep in photos)
- New turn signal switch (mounted but not wired up yet) - Dakota Digital gauges - New drive shafts - Yellow top battery - I kept all the bolts/parts I replaced with new parts. I will box those up and include with the Jeep.
The axles are the original D44 and D25. I did not change the axles since most Jeep enthusiasts have their own preferences as to which axles they like to run. The original gearing is 5:38 and this Jeep cruises around 45 mph. Please ask any questions you have. Seller is responsible for arranging pick up or shipment. I will help on my end, but will not make any arrangements.
