For sale is a rare 1975 Argosy Airstream 28" Travel Trailer! The trailer has a total of 4 Zip Dee awnings. The 3 small awnings are in very good condition and are working well! All three look to have been used very little. The large awning needs a bit of work, but just about everything is there. One arm needs an "end hook" replaced, fabric needs replaced, and spring needs to be rewinded or replaced. The floor seems solid (we did not pull up any carpet for a better look, but you don"t feel any soft spots when walking through the trailer), wheels and tires are in good shape, and hubs were serviced about a year ago. The trailer pulls well, and we had no issue towing from Florida with a Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 with tow package. The interior is mostly complete with original appliances. The A/C works great (electric), 3 of the 6 interior lights work (not sure if the others need bulbs or wiring work), All of the storage compartments work and have original draws (one couch compartment could use a little work, and has a damaged drawer, but is still functional). All 4 original stabilization/leveling legs work and are fully intact (could use some lubrication, but all work as is). The radio and speakers all work. The original stove vent fan still works and has adjustable speeds. 2 of the 3 roof vents are intact and functional (they wind up and down without issues, and do not leak), the center roof vent plastic cap is broken and need to be replaced. The couch still folds out and in, and frame work is solid, but the cushions and fabric need to be replaced. The plumbing through out the trailer including the holding tanks looks to have been upgrade semi recently, but we do not have proper hookups at our property, so the plumbing has not been tested. When we purchased the trailer (about a year and a half ago) the fridge, stove, and heater were all working on propane only. When we were towing home a small piece of the propane line was kinked near the tanks and has not yet been replaced so these items have not been tested recently, but all look to be in good condition considering there age. All of the windows are the original, except for the bathroom window in the rear. At some point it was replaced with plexiglass. These trailers came painted, but as you can see the paint need to be redone, or removed for the "shinny" look. Some of the missing trim/badges is not installed, but is included. The trailer does have a few minor dents/dings to the body, but no major damage. The metal sheeting underneath the trailer does have some damage, and a few sheets will either need work or replaced. Nothing that would stop the trailer from being towed safely, but trying to disclose any issue we can possibly think of. The trailer will come with the original factory manual, bill of sale, and vin check form filled out by our local police so that the trailer can be titled/registered depending on your state. The trailer does not currently have, nor has ever had a title. The trailer has most of the original locks in place and intact, but we do not have the keys, so they will either need to be removed or rekeyed. Also the trailer jack and lights will need some work to be functional (jack needs a gear, not sure if lights needs bulbs or wire work). Please take a good look at the photos, as they are also part of the description. We have done our best to accurately describe the trailers condition, but it is being sold "as is". If you purchase the trailer or we accept your offer a non refundable $500 deposit will be due within 24 hours, and the full balance within 7 days unless other arrangements are agreed to prior to sale. The balance can be paid by Cash in person or check (if paid by check trailer will not be able to be picked up until check has cleared). We are listing the trailer as "local pickup only", but are willing to help assist in getting some shipping quotes if you will need the trailer shipped. We are willing to store the trailer, inside our barn where it is currently being stored, for up to 30 days from time of sale.
