Vehicle description
This camper is unrestored and quite a find. I wanted to finish it but health problems have made that impossible. What a great start for you and these smaller campers are very desirable because they are easier to tow and maneuver than the larger ones, A current trend in Vintage Campers. It"s going to need new lights, tires and wheels. Cushions, some panels and sheet metal work, brakes and bearings worked on. The kitchen counter, sink and stove was removed and will need replaced however you would want. The bathroom can be restored with a new toilet and some work. The bunk is solid and I have the original fold out panel to convert into a double bed. It will need to be re attached and I also have the wood to be used for a pattern for the tank cover in the front. Some of the floor tiles are up and that will need to be fixed. I was going to remove the tiles from under the bunk to keep it original but if you go all the way you may want to replace the tiles. It"s going to need a couple panels replaced and a couple nicks and scrapes sealed and a good washing on the exterior. The electric has not been plugged in, in a couple years but is complete and should be OK. You may upgrade or use existing depending on your set up. I could go on and on with this description but one thing I have to mention is the bottom half of the trailer was painted white many years ago. It has washed off from the rain over the years but under each window you can see more of the white. I haven"t tried to remove it and it won"t be much of a problem but I have to explain it as it shows in the pics. If you know much about vintage tin cans you know the Avions are anodized not clear coated so this not a big comcern. This camper has just been put on the road after resting many years and I am waiting to get the transferable registration in the mail. It is registered as a 1963 AVION with a 940lb GVW. Please know what you are buying. A blank canvas with the ability to blend 1963 into 2021. I have this priced right for a quick sale but your going to have to do some work to take this baby to Palm Beach. I will be happy to answer any questions for you and use the pics as your guide. I left out many details mostly good ones. Thank You and Good Luck. Relist auction style due to shipping problems with buyer. Please if you bid make sure you have ability to pick up or make shipping arrangements. This Avion will be sold to the highest bidder.
