Vehicle description

Willys Jeep trailer with original data tag is ready to roll. Used in a few July 4th parades to pull two adults and two kids. It pulls behind a jeep easy and straight. New bearings. Sandblasted, primed with red oxide and the paint is 33070 OD. I airbrushed (painted) on the stars and letters. Serial number 15757 and date of delivery 12-42. The original lunette eye was cut off as purchased. A new lunette eye was bolted on. This makes the trailer more level behind a jeep. The original eye would make the trailer tip more forward when attached to the jeep. Two original chains, one with an original safety hook. The original landing leg folds up and pins when attached to a jeep. The original handbrake lever works well and will hold the trailer from moving. A new electrical wiring harness is installed but not the two rear lights. The trailer needs two new shock absobers. The rear section was cut out to make a tailgate as purchased. I carefully welded the tail gate on and reinforced it on the inside. A steel dowel was inserted into the top tube rail to strengthen it. The original bed shows age and use but is still strong. It is strong in the rear and more weak in the front. Water caused rust holes making the front thin with some small holes. (pics) Includes two combat, bolt together wheels. Two new NDT 16-6.00 tires from Specialty Tires. The tarp hooks are strong and a new tarp would look good. I am selling due to storage constraints. No title but I can provide bill of sale. The trailer is stored in my garage and not outside and it can be picked up at my home near downtown Fort Worth. It can fit in the back of a full size pickup but a trailer is recommended. Thanks.
