Vehicle description
VENTURE ALUMINUM BOAT TRAILER
This trailer will hold up to 26" boat. I"ve had a 27 footer on it, but it overhangs a little. It has a new 3/8" 3x4" steel tongue. I"ve put oil bath bearings all the way around and new 16 guage double-sheathed wiring with all LED lights and waterproof connectors.
It has new springs and spring bushings, new bunks and carpeting last year. It has 2 very nice new mag wheels, and 3 star pattern aluminum wheels. 2 new tires and 3 (including spare) a couple of years old. I used it to transport boats all over the country and now I"m out of the business and have no need for the trailer anymore.
I got tired of changing greased bearings on the side of the road, so I installed oil bath bearings 2 years ago and haven"t replaced one since, even after being in and out of salt and fresh water numerous times and several thousand miles later.
It has 3500# axles under it, and I"ve had 7500# boats on it with no problem. I moved the axles back 6 inches so there would be more weight on the tongue so I could load it heavier. The axles are u-bolted to the frame and easily moved. The bunks have a 3.5" overhang from the rear dipped crossmember, so an inboard boat (such as Mastercraft) will fit on it without getting into the drive shaft and prop very easily.
This trailer is truly UNIVERSAL for various types of boats. We"ve had 22" inboard Mastercrafts to 27" Chaparral cruisers on it and it worked perfectly with all of them. The winch post has almost 6 ft of travel on the tongue for maximum adjustability.
The winch is 2 speed and has a brand new 10,000# strap on it last year. It has disc brakes with the tongue actuator and they work great. The brakes have a minimum of half pads left all the way around.
This trailer is in top notch shape and will have no problem going 4 miles or 4,000. It"s been coast to coast numerous times.
Fl title/registration in hand, ready to go.
