Up for auction is a 1942 Taylorcraft DC65 . Aircraft will sell to the highest bidder, this is a NO reserve auction. Project seems to be complete with all parts there, but maybe missing a few that I don"t know about. Aircraft has been sitting for approximately 27 years.
S/N of aircraft is 6245 Registration number is N7878C Total time on this airframe is unknown but at least 814.4 hours Aircraft is out of annual Details on Aircraft Comes with airworthiness Bill of Sale Logbooks from 1960 to current (Last logbook entry was in 1991) Aircraft has data tag
Engine: Continental O-170 / A65-8 S/N of engine is TJ24746-43-157878 Logbooks from 1960-1991 Engine Total Time is unknown
Time SMOH 814.4 (overhauled in 1960) Propeller: No propeller is included with the sale
Damage: There are some loose spots in the fabric and some of the paint is flaking. This aircraft is rough on the inside. Exposed cables are starting to rust. Holes in the wings
