Vehicle description
Streamline Trailer 1958 Model 31. Serial number 3043.
I have 61 pictures in total that I would be happy to email to you.
Up for sale is a classic Sreamilne travel trailer. What is important to me when looking for a vintage trailer is the condition of the exterior skin. As shown in the pictures the skin is in very good condition. A few spots to repair but nothing drastic. There is an area under the bath that needs to be patched back but does not show when you are walking around the trailer.
Inside is in good restorable condition with some of the 3/8" offset doors that need to be replaced. It has the original Dixie stove and Coleman furnace but the gas lines need to be run underneath and serviced to make sure they work properly. All lights and electrical is original. Sink and counters are original.Sink plumbing needs to be hooked up. I have owned this trailer for years and it has always been under a 1000 sq ft roof structure the entire time.I have used it for the bathroom only while I have owned it.
All exterior parts are original but missing door lock and rear bumper. The things needing to be done are what I call fun stuff. The only thing not fun is the polishing part.
Tires are old and can probably (maybe?) be towed a short distance. If you are going a long distance you should replace the tires, pack the bearings, and install temp lights. Also there is a soft spot in the floor at the entrance door.that needs to be repaired. Also as you can see the carpet and flooring needs to be replaced.
Now here is the good part: It is at my property I will work with you and help you if you talk to me. I am not trying to get rich here. I think $4,000 is a very fair price and that leaves some meat on the bone.
Clear title and currently registered.
Trailer is in Castella, CA. 3 miles south of Dunsmuir. Also I am not sure if the swamp cooler works on the roof? I have never turned it on.
If you have any questions please message me here on or call me at 415-306-4181. Please call between 4PM PST, not earlier, and don"t call unreasonably late at night. Thank you!
-Mike
