Hello!
I’m selling my 1971 31’ Streamline Imperial Emperor trailer. These are the sisters to Silver Streak or Airstream trailers, it has all the whistles and bells.
This is a classic, all aluminum exterior. It is in great condition, solid frame. No exterior dents. Dual axle, repacked bearings. The heat (I believe) made a few windows shatter, so I have the glass to replace them, I just haven’t had the time yet. I will include these for free. There is one spot on the floor
All and all, this is a wonderful trailer. This company is known to be more durable and better than the Classic Airstreams, as it was built directly in to the frame. It has stronger construction as well. Made in El Monte, CA, these are the top of the line. This is ready to be a dream Tiny House or cool project, I hate to sell it and if I am looking for the right person to give it new life. I had full the intention of living in it and can"t express how bummed I am to have to sell. I’m only selling because I got a job out of state. To create an open floor plan, I removed much of the outdated interior, although most of the original hanging cabinets are still in. I have noted noted a soft spot where the sink originally was, but I do not feel this is too troublesome. Tires could be replaced, but I don"t know enough in this area, tread is good, I don"t see dry rot but I feel they might be older. Remember, this will be listed AS IS, for I am unsure of further issues. I will also include some windows and extras that I picked up for use in the trailer, free (if you want them).
It has a cool history from what I have found, a couple from up in Washington owned it for many years and we brought it down here from that area. . so it travels well and really is a gem. I initially wanted a smaller one, but after purchasing one, I found it was too tiny for 2 people and 2 dogs. This is perfect for a family or a project, I want to find it the right home.
