Vehicle description
Streamline Trailer 1958 Model 31. Serial number 3043.
I have 61 pictures in total that I would be happy to email to you.
Up for sale is one of two trailers I have up for sale. What is important to me when looking for a vintage trailer is the condition of the exterior skin. As shown in the pictures the skin is in very good condition. A few spots to repair but nothing drastic. There is an area under the bath that needs to be patched back but does not show when you are walking around the trailer.
Inside is in good restorable condition with some of the 3/8" offset lip doors needed to be replaced. Windows and hardware need to be reworked but are now all closed. The origin Dixie stove and Coleman furnace but the gas lines need to be run underneath and serviced to make sure they work properly. All lights and electrical is original. Sink and counters are original. Sink plumbing needs to be hooked up. I have owned this trailer for years and it has always been under a 1000 sq ft roof structure the entire time.
All exterior parts are original but missing door lock and rear bumper. The things needing to be done are what I call fun stuff. The only thing not fun is the polishing part.
Tires are old and can probably (maybe?) be towed a short distance. If you are going a long distance you should replace the tires, pack the bearings, and install temp lights.
Now here is the good part: It is at my property underneath the pole barn and if sold I would move it out under another covered roof. I will work with you and help you if you talk to me. I am not trying to get rich here. I think $5,000 is a very fair starting price and that leaves some meat on the bone.
Clear title and currently registered.
Trailer is in Castella, CA. 3 miles south of Dunsmuir.
If you have any questions please message me here on or call me at 415-306-4181. Please call between 4PM PST, not earlier, and don"t call unreasonably late at night. Thank you!
