The engine ran great the last time I ran it. The fabric is in good shape. It was recovered in 1986 using Stits by a friend of mine who was a Stits dealer. I have all of the plans except for one (the seat). This project would not take much more to finish.
The logs were lost several years ago, but I have generated new logbooks to document the work I have performed (A&P mechanic) and my IA friend who rebuilt the aircraft in 1985. Also, the estimated SMOH is estimated at 500 hours. All applicable ADs have been complied with in accordance with the O-300A TCDS. The aircraft is located in St. Augustine, FL (KSGJ).
