A nice project plan for someone. Until yesterday it had been in an old hanger with trees blocking the door! I see very little corrosion anywhere, The wings do need some work I can send you more pictures if you request them. Here is all I know about the plane, it has not been flown since the early 90s, was pulled apart for an annual and had to low cylinders. A motor was purchased a from another 108 and installed. The propeller is in very nice shape, I do have all of the logs for the airplane, and for the new motor. I am trying to work out the hours on it, I was told it had around 2000 hrs but had major work done recently. This is being sold as a project, has many new parts and extra parts. The interior appears to be all there but it is in rough shape thanks to the mice. The aluminum exterior was installed as a professionally made kit in the 1950’s. The fuselagelooks in good shape although there is one area on the tail that will require some attention and can be seen in the pictures. I would prefer you come look at it before making an offer if at all possible. The plane is located in Oxford, Maine and will need to be picked up. I have many spare parts including an extra set of front wing struts, and most of an extra tail.
