“STINSON 108-2, NO RESERVE, Fresh annual. Nice Stinson 108-2 station wagon. Runs and flies beautifully. All logs back to 1947. AD’s complied with. Fresh annual - TT 1976. Smoh 780hrs - Compressions are all good. Original mags, Fresh annual, intercom, Basic VFR panel. Fabric is the heavy ceconite 101. Tests well. Lots of life left. Wing spars and ribs are aluminum and straight. No damage Fuselage tubing very solid. No week spots. Maul tail wheel, Cleveland brakes, Nice tail whl trainer. Great airplane. Flies straight and true. FLY IT HOME ! Flys very well. No corrosion. Spent most of its life in very dry, high desert climate. Good solid airplane. Please ask all Questions prior to bidding NO TIRE KICKERS! See above partial description And read below Airplane is very original- not altered from the way it was built other than the heavy case Franklin and the oversized tires and brakes Runs/ flys well Original Franklin 165 (heavy case) engine was overhauled 780 hours ago and many years have gone by since. It does run well , with good compression
NO RESERVE - however I reserve the right to cancel sale If a mutually acceptable reserve is not met I don’t want a lot of money for it -will be a very fair price but if a mutually acceptable price is not met I will not sell it Nice Flying airplane Flies nice and straight. Has pitch and rudder trim and flys hands off. Fabric red and white were rejuvented recently and look good- flat finish Butyrate Horizontal tail surface tips were repainted. Remaining vert fin, rudder and engine cowel are original paint and faded with some checking New Gill battery, new elt battery 8.50x6 tires with good tread and new tail tire I have the inboard wing strut fairings that were not installed in pics All logs back to new Other documentation including 337’s , AD ‘s and STC info as well as a recent title search, parts manual, operating manual from univair- all included Lived its life in very dry, high desert climate- No rust or corrosion I have both rear seats (one pictured) The headliner either needs replacing or stitched up as pictured for a Frankenstein look. Fly it home. Comm works but not reliable I’m going to swap out the push to talk switch for the com radio and see if that is the problem but I would plan to bring a hand held radio -2 place Intercom works nicely
