I bought this 1976 Steyr Puch Pinzgauer 710K Funk Pinz (Radio Truck) 2004 direct from the Swiss Army and imported it to Canada. I’m the only civilian owner. As a young man, I was trained by the Swiss Army on Pinzgauers and maintained it accordingly. This Pinz is original Swiss Army, no funny conversions or “upgrades” done. It has collector status. 38300km, 17000km by the Army and 21300km by myself. Installs that are not original like the VHF Radio with remote head and speaker, the 24V to 12V (10amp) transformer, 2” receiver, PVC pipes below the windshield, have been made without drilling holes and can be re-converted within minutes. It comes with the original antennas on the sides, the centre antenna is not an original antenna, the original Eberspächer gas heater (needs maintenance), shop manual English and the original one in German, parts catalogue, owners manual. Snow chains and the 9500lbs winch as well as the VHF radio are not original. It’s the buyers responsibility to check the vehicle before bidding. The sale is “as is, where is” no warranty, no refund. Same deal I had with the Swiss Army.
