The buyer is the first owner of vehicle.
Production of the UAZ-452 commenced in 1965. It is a successor to the UAZ-450,
that is an unlicensed copy of the Willys Jeep Forward Control.
The UAZ-452 was produced in large numbers for civilians and military.
It has been exported to the former Warsaw Pact countries, and to other countries
where the Soviet influence has spread.
The UAZ-452 and its successive variants are in service with Russia and
a number of countries around the world.
Despite its age and odd appearance this vehicle is still being produced for military
and civil customers.
A baseline UAZ-452 van has two front doors, side door, plus the rear doors. It can carry driver plus up to 8 passengers, or up to 800 kg of cargo. Inside the van there are benches for the passengers. Vehicle can tow trailers or artillery pieces with a maximum weight of 850 kg.
The UAZ-452 was typically used as ambulance, light workshop and as command vehicle.
The original UAZ-452 has a 2.4-liter petrol engine, developing 72 hp. It was a standard car engine, also found on other Soviet vehicles. It is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
It has good cross-country mobility and can reach even the most remote places.
