Listed for sale is our home on wheels, a converted school bus that is sure to turn heads at any campground you stay at. This school bus is originally a 1999 Amtran school bus that is about 40 feet in overall length. Has a DT466e diesel engine (with only 188,000 miles. .young for a diesel) that still runs great and has lots of life left on her for a diesel! Will need a little work on the headlights/marker lights and probably needs an oil change but shouldn"t be too hard or too involved.
The coach is equipped with a 30AMP shore service for power in addition to a separate 20AMP outlet for additional air conditioning. There is 1 portable air conditioner in the front (14000 BTU) and a heat pump (14200BTU). Under a custom built 5 foot couch is an on-board fresh water tank capable of holding 50 gallons. There is also a 50 gallon gray water tank mounted on the outside under the kitchen sink. The outside tank is also insulated and wrapped in heat tape to prevent freezing in the winter time.
This coach comes with space for an entertainment stand and a dinette if you choose. There is also a standard house size double sink and 8 feet of cabinet space (more than on most RVs!). The kitchen also includes a microwave oven and 9.9 cu ft. apartment size fridge/freezer. In addition there is ample storage space on both wheel wells and a large closet in the rear of the coach.
There is no shower on-board since we have never needed it. .however there is space for a portable toilet and additional air conditioner (included) in the back of the coach. There is also a queen size loft style bed with a large "basement" storage area underneath.
This coach also comes with a class 5 trailer hitch welded to the main structure which is perfect for towing almost anything.
