Vehicle description
VINTAGE 1958 CORVETTE DRAG RACER Condition: as parked in 1977.
Mr VOO DOO 1958 corvette. In 1961 James Sparacino of Dallas Texas bought this car and drag raced it till 1974 when he died. Family members continued to run Mr VOO DOO until it was parked in the family garage around 1977. His wife kept it there until 2006 when she went into a rest home. This car has not been cut or altered by anyone. It remains as it was when James drove it.
The motor is a 1963 327 with camel-hump heads, solid roller cam. The tunnel ram is an Edelbrock TR 1, 2 660 holleys. Tube axle and transverse leaf spring. Rear end is a 1962 Olds with 5.13 gear. I have old photos, original title, and registration tags. This car is a perfect candidate for NCRS heritage class. It was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in 2007. Car has current California Title and tags. 415 254 9868 Andy CASH or Bank transfer only
Hello, this was my uncle’s car. Just to let you know my uncle Jim bought this car new. It was his daily driver and would race it on the weekends at Greenvalley racetrack. He raced it in the 60’s and stopped in early 70.
