Dour Rippie Motorsports is much like Callaway or Lingenfelter. The Conversion consisted of: Complete engine redo with 383 Cubic Inches Ported LT4 Heads Ferrea Valves LT4 Intake 58 mm Throttle Body Callies Forged Crank Oliver Forged Rods JE Pistons Shorty Headers Custom Aluminum Radiator Custom Oil Cooler Canton Road Race Oil Pan. MSD Ignition Bilstein Coilover shocks Wilwood 6 piston front calipers and wilwood 4 piston rear calipers 2-piece rotors/hats Dana 44 4:10 rear end gear Custom Tuning. This conversion came at a cost of $27,408.55 (not including the cost of the Corvette)
A farmer owned 2 of these in northern Missouri and upon his death they both sat out in the sun which in turn basically destroyed the black paint. All of the paint is original and in poor shape. The transparent top is also in poor shape. When I found the Corvette I started taking it apart and replacing all of the engine related old crusty electrical parts. Almost all of the sensor ends have been replaced. Injectors replaced, I converted it to electric water pump. And also updated the optispark. All of the u joint and rear wheel bearings are new with less than 50 miles on them. The Bilstein coilover shocks have less than 200 miles on them. Custom Aluminum floor was added to keep the heat out of the floor and extensive heat shielding was used around the engine. It has a hi torque stater and new high performance alternator. It also has a turn one road race power steering pump and DRM breaded line. I bought and built this Corvette to be my track day car but and with having 7 cars I ended up driving my Radical SR3. I took it to Gateway International Raceway 2 times where I am a instructor and it performed well.
Great car for track days, SOLO or fun street hot rod. Car has a title
