“GT3 RSR tribute with fresh rebuilt motor and a lot of awesomeness.” |
Make: | Porsche | Model Year: | 1999 |
Laguna Niguel, California, United States
Vehicle description
1999 Porsche 911 996 converted body to the 2012 997.2 GT3 RSR body ($19K conversion).
Fresh Engine rebuild 400 street miles ago with zero track time (LN Engineering IMS bearing, etc.) $10K
Brand new stage 2 racing clutch
Brand new brake rotors and pads
K&N Ram air intake (CARB approved)
Lexan Rear Quarter and rear windshield
Cup car carbon fiber roof
Full custom roll cage (side doors based on Mazda"s design for getting in and out easier)
Adjustable coilovers
Custom Center exit Exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers (sounds amazing).
LED 997.2 rear taillights
997 Bixenon headlights
997.2 LED DRLs
MOMO racing seat
MOMO quick release steering wheel
New fuel pump and steering rack.
Only things left I would do are the wheels/tires, and a custom wrap. BOth I would do, but
The body is great quality, but is for race cars not off the showroom floor. Has a Maaco paint job simply to give a white base under a wrap. I have since bought a 997 dash, but haven"t had the time to install yet.
Currently has steel doors, but I can get Carbon fiber/FG doors an additional cost. Currently street legal with a clean and clear title. Never been in an accident. Over $50K invested.
I couldn"t do a spec boxster, so I built this up instead.

For sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please don"t bid without the funds. Please ask any questions. Check my feedback.
For sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Relisting because of non-paying highest bidder. Please don"t bid without the funds. I"m looking for around $24K. Please ask any questions. Check my feedback.
The car has no A/C. Besides the dash that is not shown but included, I do not have any more interior pieces.
The first two photos are of the real $500K RSR. That"s just for reference to show how well a tribute this car is. The car all in white is the car you are bidding on. Thanks
