1973 Duster Super Gas/Super Comp/Bracket car. Putnam tube chassis, All fiberglass except roof and rear quarters. Excellent condition. 526 CI Chrisman/Tranzact motor, fresh rebuild no passes, all new electronics done by Pro Tree racing. Tranzact 727 custom close ratio transmission. This car has the best of everything, hooks hard anytime, any place, 8.85 to 8.90 at 155. Pulls consistent 00 lights on a pro tree (see picture of time slips running Pro tree 9.0 index) and is killer on a sportsman tree with electronics. CO2 shifter and throttle stop. This car ran over 120 passes without a single issue, did nothing but adjust valves. Unload and race and load back up for the next race. Chrisman of Trazact tore down after 123 passes, freshened up entire engine and installed new custom flowed heads flowing much better than the previous heads so we know it has to be faster, but has not hit the track since. Before improved heads motor made 900hp and its all motor. Custom diff built to Pro Mod specs, moser axles and all the good stuff. Haven"t had the car out for the last two seasons as I have returned to road racing so the engine truly has not made a pass. This car launches so hard and straight it is amazing, consistent low to mid 1.20"s 60". Hate to see it go but have no time for drag racing. The only thing this car needs is a new set of slicks and a fresh certification. Easy cert to 8.50, and a real money winner.
