The airplane was donated to us and flown, via ferry permit, to KSUS in March 2016 (the last date it has flown). We have chosen not to inspect this plane, but borescoped the engine. See the list of obvious issues below. The aircraft is being sold as a project due to our staff limitations. Wings of Hope can supply a list of maintenance providers in our area who may be able to assist in making the aircraft ferryable. The aircraft is sold without a battery. The paint shows very nice with high gloss. The airplane includes the Valley Gear Door modification which improves reliability & reduces aerodynamic drag during retraction/extention and reduces weight by 7 lbs. Obvious Issues are: the engine will not start, fuel line froze and cracked allowing fuel to leak out of belly, cylinder corrosion was found (pictures included), pilot seat back loose and lacking a bolt and nut, right front seat is off seat tracks, and the flaps will not stay up without hydraulic pressure. Aircraft Storage. If the parties agree to it in writing, and the Seller has available space at or nearby the Seller’s principal address (or such other specifically identified location) for the storage of the aircraft, Buyer shall pay Seller an additional storage fee of ONE HUNDRED United States Dollars ($100.00) for each calendar month of storage on or before the first day of the month such fee contemplates , up to a maximum of three (3) months. Buyer shall maintain property insurance for the entire period of such storage in an amount determined adequate by Buyer. Storage is conditional on the Buyer’s signing Seller’s waiver of liability for any harm or theft that may occur during the period of storage. Remember when you make an auction bid, YOU ARE ACCEPTING and AGREEING to a contract to buy. The time for inspection is before the auction ends. A 10% non-refundable deposit is due within two days/48 hours of the auction closing with the remainder due within the next eight days. Wings of Hope will accept PayPal or a credit card for the deposit. The remainder should be paid by wire transfer, bank check, or of course cash. Wings of Hope is the largest humanitarian aviation charity in the world and the only one staffed primarily by volunteers. Purchasing this plane will support Wings of Hope’s mission of changing and saving lives through the power of aviation. In the U.S., Wings of Hope provides medical air transport services – free of charge – to individuals who need specialized medical care. The organization provides similar support to poor communities in Africa, Asia and Central and South America.
